200 and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Courses
Our 200 and 300 hour trainees are meant to deepen your understanding of yoga. All of our teachers have spent many years teaching, and are all RYT 200 hr. with a some at RYT 500 hour.
200 hour Yoga Immersion and Teacher Training
is a 6 month program from January to May.
Our 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified program is a 6 month program going from January to May. We give you the unique opportunity to practice yoga everyday, to make great leaps and bounds in your practice. This is a fast path and a sure-fire way to develop a strong practice that will fuel your transformation. Your desire need only be to delve into yoga deeper. Learn how to do the poses, the history, anatomy, and philosophy behind hatha yoga. Join us for a yoga teacher training program that is unique and special. You will be supported on every level and you learn to find your own unique style and voice. Be part of a powerful experience on How to teach the poses correctly, safely. 300 Hour Advanced Yoga Teaching Training Program
Taught by Paula Bortolotto, E-RYT 500 hour and Kim Dawes, E-RYT 500 hour. Together we have been teaching and practicing yoga for over 20 years in the Cincinnati area. Deepen your yoga studies with precision in alignment principles, verbal and hands on physical adjusting for postures including yin, sun salutes, standing and seated postures. Learn therapeutic applications for common problems regarding knees, hips, low back, and shoulders. Practice teaching advanced students, and learn the subtle ways to open your students and develop intelligent sequencing to do so. Sequencing and theming of classes will be a focus in teaching effectively utilizing a variety of areas such as yoga philosophy, subtle body, meditation, mudras and mantras. Gain a deeper understanding of anatomy, how postures affect the different systems of the body, including nervous system, organs, connective tissue, fascia and circulatory system. Understand how the koshas and chakras, including our thoughts, actions affect our physical body. Study yoga nidra and guided visualizations as a path for healing. Look at meridian lines of energy, (Tom Myers, Anatomy Trains), that closely follow acupuncture points. Advanced theory and practice of bandhas, pranayama and kriyas. A deeper look at Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the Bhavagad Gita, in a modern day application. Live your yoga on and off the mat. A comprehensive inquiry of creating a successful business in teaching yoga with creative, traditional and modern focuses, including studio ownership.
